Media Guide Confirms Two
Longstanding Rumors
With its release this week of the 2010 Media Guide, Northwestern confirmed two rumors that have circulated for much of the offseason.
First, Northwestern is making the first major change to its football
uniform since 2003, and the new unis will feature Northwestern stripes
for the first time since 1996! Click here for a mock up of the new jersey and more details.
At long last, Adidas is also releasing the consumer version of the new
jersey as well. Let's Tailgate should have the replica from
Adidas in stock by this weekend.
Second, the media guide has confirmed that Pat Fitzgerald will have a
weekly televised coach's show. "The Pat Fitzgerald Show" will
appear on Comcast, and the Big Ten Network is planning to show it as
well. During the show, Coach Fitzgerald will discuss with host
Dave Eanet the highlights of NU's most recent game, and will preview
the next match.
Northwestern, which first aired a coach's show on Chicago television
during Coach Parseghian's tenure, has been without a weekly TV show for
nearly a decade.
